"Holiday Treasures" - Precious Metal Collectibles

The "Holiday Treasures" collectable series (as I call them) is a collection of precious metal rounds and bars designed to celebrate beloved holidays throughout the year. The initial four holiday designs (Halloween, Christmas, Valentine's Day, and St. Patrick's Day) are a collaborative effort between myself and the head designer. We brainstormed concepts and possible themes together and then created individual designs for each holiday, ultimately bringing each of our visions to life to meet the needs of our customers as well. My role in the product design process included contributing to the initial concept development (included some UX research, how to keep and evolve the women customer base), refining design elements, and ensuring the final product met our (and customer) quality standards. Beyond the design phase, I was responsible for the photography and editing of all product images. To make sure that I was successful, I ensured that the final presentation of these unique collectibles was as captivating and festive as the designs themselves, offering collectors and investors an exciting investment opportunity.

Spooky  & Sweet Series

The 2024 Spooky & Sweet series reimagines classic Halloween imagery with a softer touch, drawing inspiration from Impressionist and Expressionist art movements. This approach aimed to broaden the appeal of Halloween collectibles beyond traditional, often frightening, designs, particularly targeting a feminine audience. Sales data confirmed the success of this strategy, demonstrating strong interest from women. In contrast, another designer created a parallel series with a more traditional, creepy aesthetic, drawing inspiration from Frank Frazetta. This approach catered to a different segment of the market, showcasing the versatility of the Halloween theme and the potential for diverse creative interpretations.

My result is a collection of charming and whimsical 1-ounce 999 silver bars, featuring beloved Halloween motifs like mummies, black cats, scarecrows, and ghosts, rendered in a style that is both spooky and sweet. The photo session, utilizing warm tones and drawing inspiration from autumnal colors, aimed to create a cozy and inviting atmosphere, perfectly complementing the four unique silver bar designs and supporting the overall aesthetic of the Spooky & Sweet series.
